It seems like just yesterday Miss Ruby was born, and then I took her 6 month photos… and now she’s ONE!
This little girl has the prettiest blue eyes on the planet. And she is a wild child. She is independent and likes to do what she wants to do. I admire that spirit! She is going to do big things.
I have included some of my favorites. Enjoy!
OH EMMM GEEE!!!!
I’m so in love with these photos and with Collins! She is SUCH a sweet pea.
This summer, I got to take Bryan and Ashley’s maternity pictures, you can find them here. They were so down for anything, so I knew they would be fun for the newborn session. When I got to their house for the newborn session, I was in awestruck with how pretty Collins is. Bryan and Ashley- you made a beautiful child! I got to visit for a while and once Bryan got home from work we were shooting away. We had a blast! At one point Collins got a little fussy…. but Bryan picked her up and put her to sleep. Wow! These two impressed me with their parenting skills- and she was only 10 days old at the time.
Enjoy my favorites, there are SO many. And actually there are many more favorites. :)
A few weeks ago, I got to take Brett’s little cousin Anna’s senior pictures. When I came into the family, Anna was 10! And now she is a senior… holy cow! I watched this kid grow up right before my eyes. She’s on the of the funniest kids I know. I look forward to spending time with her for each of Brett’s family functions. So when she asked me to take her senior pictures, I was excited.
We met up at their grandparents house right outside of Clinton, NC. We ate lunch and then took off down the road. There is an old school house, and an old store that we used. Then we whipped it down a field road right next to a tobacco field. Lastly, I had the idea of going in the upstairs part of their grandparent’s barn. They are huge yard sale people and always have a surplus of furniture in their barn. I had just gotten my new 6D and I was anxious to push the ISO to the limit. Anna and I climbed up in the barn and the light coming through the cracks of the barn did not disappoint. The barn photos are some of my favorite images ever.
I picked some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Happy Sunday People!
Oh WOW! I cannot even describe how happy I am for these two! Josh and my husband Brett grew up together and totally each other’s BFF. They played numerous baseball games together, created DRIBA POOKY BUN, had some serious BB gun wars (don’t even ask!), played tennis ball home run derby, jumped off the tower at Green Springs, skim boarded at the beach, and have been there for each other through thick and thin. So naturally I have been around Josh for 8 years.
I have had the pleasure of witnessing Josh and Caroline’s entire relationship- dating, getting engaged, and marriage. And now I get to witness one of the most miraculous miracles in the world, the birth of their child Banks! These two are going to be fabulous parents. Josh is going to have this kid out duck hunting before he can even walk, and Caroline is going to have him looking stylish while doing it! I can’t wait for Banks to get here. I love y’all dearly!
Here are some of my favorite photos from their shoot. We even included some photos with Huck, Josh and Caroline’s fur baby.
so. much. love.❤
There is a whole lot of love, and a whole lot of heat coming from this blog post! Blake and Cierra are so darn adorable. They have been together since high school and have grown together into an amazing couple. After 6 years together, these two are making it official on April 4, 2016!
We took the photos out at my Mom and Stepdad’s house in Wendell. I’m so grateful that they live in such a beautiful spot! I had a ball with Blake and Cierra. The weather was absolutely perfect, and so were they. I’m just amazed with how comfortable they were with each other and in front of the camera.
Enjoy some of my favorites!
I thought I’d share this session with you today, since it’s so dreary outside, I figured y’all’d appreciate a little sunshine!
I’m friends with Natalie, and she asked me to take photos of her family way back in the summer. Well after having to move the session due to me starting a new job, and a few cancellation due to weather, we finally got them done. And boy… I think waiting for them really paid off! We had the perfect weather with the perfect sunset light.
The photos were taken to celebrate Natalie’s parent’s 40th wedding anniversary. Those two, Neil and Wanda, are just too precious for words. The amount of love in that family showed through the photos.
I enjoyed their session so much. I hope y’all enjoy these too!
This cracks me up! These 3 are in the coordinating chairs of their kids in the above photo! haha
Coby and Brooke welcomed two gorgeous twin girls on August 13th! Dawsen Leigh Kellum, and Kennedy Alexis Kellum. Their names are both home runs aren’t they?
I’ve known Coby for a very long time. Coby is my best friend’s little brother, so naturally, he gets treated like my little brother. And I have loved getting to know Brooke! Their twin girls are so stinkin’ precious. They are well loved by lots of family and friends, including myself!
I got the chance to take their photos when they were a little over a week old. Here are some of my favorites.
